SousAI helps people turn cooking videos into saved, searchable recipes. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices users have.
Information we collect
- Account information such as email address, Instagram account identifiers, and profile details when you create or connect an account.
- Content you save or create in the app, including recipe links, extracted recipes, collections, notes, tags, and edits.
- Purchase and subscription information processed through Apple and RevenueCat to manage paid access.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, such as device identifiers, app version, and basic diagnostic logs.
How we use information
- To authenticate users and maintain their personal cookbook.
- To process shared links and generate recipe drafts.
- To provide paid features, restore purchases, and prevent abuse.
- To improve app reliability, security, and product quality.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run the app, such as Supabase for backend infrastructure and RevenueCat for subscriptions, or when required by law.
Retention
We keep account and cookbook data for as long as your account remains active, unless a longer retention period is required by law. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data unless we must retain specific records for legal, security, or financial reasons.
Your choices
- You can access and update your saved recipes and profile information inside the app.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data in the app from Settings.
- If you have an active subscription, cancel billing through Apple in your Apple ID subscription settings.
